The Brain Fitness Program

As the population ages and as medical science makes advances to extend the life expectancy of the average American, the next great concern is the problem of having one’s body outlive the brain. Statistics show that if an average American reaches his 80th birthday, he has a 50/50 chance of ending his life “non compos mentis”  (the medical term for dementia or Alzheimer;s Disease). Those are not good odds !

A group of more than 50 neuroscientists at the University of California San Francisco, lead by
Dr. Michael Merzenich Ph.D., have spent more than 10 years researching and developing The Brain Fitness Program™   to offset the effects of aging and to promote brain health and vitality. The program was introduced to the public as a fund raiser for the Public Broadcast System  (PBS) television affiliates nationwide. The response was an overwhelming success with more than 23,000 units sold in just four months. The Prestige Academy Inc. is the authorized provider for the Brain Fitness Program™  and is distributing, training and providing customer service for the State of Florida.

The Brain Fitness Program™  is a computer based system that contains six modules, each scientifically designed to work and improve a different function of the brain. The program takes no more than one hour per day of computer time to complete (It is as simple as pointing and clicking a button) and has documented improved brain functions in those who completed the program. During each session the participants are asked to complete four of the six modules. As your proficiency improves, the sessions get progressively more challenging so that the brain is continuously being exercised. At the end of each session the participant is shown a progress chart for each module and their improvement is demonstrated daily.

The total investment for the program for one individual is  $395.

A two unit version (designed for a husband and wife, or two friends, to go through the program at the same time)  is priced at   $495.
